MANEJO DA ÁGUA PARA UM RIO LIMPO E COMUNIDADE INTEGRADA (video in Portuguese)
Get to know the project “Manejo da Água para um rio limpo e comunidade integrada” (Water Management for a Clean River and Integrated Community). Developed in the neighborhood of Verava, Ibiúna, SP – created to disseminate alternatives of appropriate water management in the Rural Zone through an Environmental Education program. Realized by IPESA (Instituto de Projetos e Pesquisas Socioambientais), the project was financed by FEHIDRO (Fundo Estadual de Recursos Hídricos) and was supported by the Municipality of Ibiúna and the Community Association of the Verava District.

CES – ALPHAVILLE
The Centro de Educação para Sustentabilidade Alphaville (Alphaville Sustainability Education Center), a complex managed by the Alphaville Institution, was created in October 2008 with the purpose of disseminating techniques and practices that bring benefits to the community. In the beginning of its operations, in 2009, it was directed to children and adolescents of school age in the public school system, in addition to low income communities in the region of Santana de Parnaíba. In 2010, the focus was extended to integral sustainability, according to which the human being should be in a continuous process of learning, providing changes in habits, new worldview and expansion of consciousness.
